>inb4 any boss from any bullet hell type game I would say one from Dark Souls, but that would be cheating. After all these years, I STILL can't get past Demyx in Kingdom Hearts 2, just before the huge battle thing. |

Level grind, Kingdom Hearts 2 is easy as shit Sephiroth from KH1 is probably the only boss I haven't beaten, because you have to time your blocks perfectly or he'll 1 hit you. KH2 Sephiroth on the other hand is incredibly easy |

Hm, I'd have to say Selvaria from Valkyria Chronicles or Duke from Tales of Vesperia, all 3 stages on Unknown... God awful fight... |

Green from Gunstar Super Heroes, hardest difficulty. Never defeated him. The bird shaman girl in Sin and Punishment 2. Easiest mode took me 6 tries. Probably the hardest boss I felt that I battled fairly and it wasn't cheap or overpowered. Alatreon from MH3 took me over two dozen tries before I had an experienced enough team to succeed. There are dozens of unmentioned bosses which caused me ire, but they mostly come from these 3 games. |

Alma on Master Ninja from Ninja Gaiden (Black) and Elizebet on Mentor or harder from Ninja Gaiden 2. Those are the most infuriating bosses from those games IMO. Also, the 51st event match "The Showdown" from SSBM, but I'm not sure if you can count that as a boss battle. |

Melbu Frahma the final boss for Legend of Dragoon. He had different forms and with each new form he changes the environment, changing his attacks. If you sucked at addition (video to exhibit how complex they eventually got), or lacked potions and angel prayers you were pretty much screwed.  It actually took me a good week or two playing on and off (rage quitting often) to finally beat him. It was the most satisfying end to a game I've ever played. |
