Okay, I can get that. Code Geass wasn't too mecha heavy, it was more about the characters and Lelouch's crazy awesome plans.

On a side note, you're the first person I've met with a negative opinion on Kamina. I thought his over cocky attitude was hilarious, but I can see how it might come off as obnoxious to some people.

Author: Leblokkolt [Starman Deluxe]	Is Gurren Lagann actually a manga as well? I tried to get into it a while back, but I only ever found like 4 different manga series called Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann that each had, like, 15 chapters, and I didn't want to accidentally start halfway through.

Well I started watching it for the boobs... But stopped because of the robots and Kamina. Maybe I'll try again another time. I mean, the first time I tried watching it, I couldn't get past the intro.
